Terms of Service
These Terms set out the rules for using PrepyAI. Please read them carefully — by using the Service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PrepyAI(the “Service”) is an AI-powered platform for practising technical interviews — multiple-choice questions, live coding exercises, and system-design whiteboards — that are generated and graded by AI and tracked on a personal dashboard.
The Service is operated by an individual sole proprietor trading under the name PrepyAI(“we”, “us”, or “our”). You can reach us at any time at prepyai26@gmail.com.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You confirm that the information you provide when registering is accurate and current.
4. Your account
You register with an email address and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal — one account per person, and you may not share, sell, or transfer it.
Tell us promptly at prepyai26@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
5. What the Service provides
The Service generates practice questions and exercises, grades your responses, offers hints and feedback, runs submitted code, and records your results on a dashboard. It also offers real-time collaborative practice rooms.
The Service is an educational practice tool. It does not guarantee any particular score, interview outcome, job offer, or employment, and it is not a substitute for professional, career, or legal advice.
6. AI-generated content and accuracy
Questions, hints, grades, explanations, and other outputs are produced with the help of third-party AI models (currently Cerebras, Groq, Google Gemini). AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date.
You should independently verify anything important before relying on it. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party right;
- copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content (including the question bank), or use it to build a competing product;
- reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service, or attempt to bypass usage limits, security, or authentication;
- submit code intended to harm, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our systems or those of others;
- upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harassing content, including in collaborative rooms;
- use automated means to access the Service beyond ordinary personal use.
8. AI credits, plans, and quotas
Use of AI features is metered in “AI credits” — generating a question, grading, hints, and design steps each consume one credit. Console code runs do not consume credits but are rate-limited on a fair-use basis. The Free plan and our paid plans (Recommended and Practice Wizard) carry per-day limits, with an hourly cap on paid plans, applied on a fair-use basis.
We may set, adjust, or enforce these limits, and may throttle or suspend usage that we reasonably believe is abusive or automated.
9. Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans are sold as recurring subscriptions through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record and is the seller of record for your purchase. Prices are charged in the currency shown at checkout (currently US Dollars, USD), and any applicable tax or VAT is calculated and handled by Lemon Squeezy at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (linked from your receipt and billing emails) or by contacting us. Cancellation, billing, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of the answers, code, designs, prompts, and messages you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display Your Content — including transmitting it to the AI providers above — solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it. Do not submit confidential information, or anyone's personal data, that you are not permitted to share.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, name, and the generated question bank, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own interview preparation. No other rights are granted, and you may not use our name or branding without our written permission.
12. Collaborative practice rooms
Collaborative rooms are opened through a shareable link and are intentionally public — anyone with the link, including guests without an account, can join. Anything you share in a room is visible to other participants. Use rooms respectfully and at your own risk; we may remove content or limit access to keep the Service safe.
13. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties — including Lemon Squeezy for payments, the AI providers named above, and our hosting and database providers — to function. Their availability is outside our control, and your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that practising on the Service will lead to any interview result or job offer.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the State of Israel, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, or as otherwise permitted by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
17. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
